The Jefferson Islands Club has the following categories of membership:

Regular Member
A Regular Member has full membership and voting rights in the Jefferson Islands Club, Inc. Regular membership requires an initial payment of $1,000 for a share of stock and annual dues of $1,500.

One may be a Regular Member, with the approval of the Board of Governors, either by full cash payment of the $1,000 stock payment and continuing payment of the annual dues or- by payment of the $1,000 stock payment over a three-year period by annual payments of $375, plus payment of annual dues. The stock is assessable for nonpayment of dues and any other assessments made by the Board of Governors and may be retired upon such assessed amounts equaling the current price of the stock.

Non-resident Regular Members must live more than 250 miles from the Club and have purchased a share of stock. Non-resident dues are $250 annually.

Junior Member
A person under 35 years of age may become a Junior Member by initial payments of $100 toward the purchase a share of stock, with payment of a minimum of $100 a year thereafter until the $1,000 fee is fully paid, which must be prior to reaching age 35. A Junior Member does not have voting rights until this fee has been paid and stock has been issued to him or her. Annual dues for a Junior Member are half of regular member dues, or $750. A Regular Member who is under the age of 35 also pays at the half-dues rate.

Associate Member
An Associate Member is one who joins the Club without the initiation fee and purchase of a share of stock and who has no vote. Associate Memberships are limited to two years and are subject to annual approval of the Board of Governors. Annual dues are $1,500.
